Vintage Text
Paint Brush or Sponge
Acyrlic Paint (I used Plaid Bleu Cayman)
Glue Stick
scissors
Sequin Waste (used as a stencil)
Paper Imagery Collage Sheets...
Egg Inchie #222 and Billy #230
German Scrap Embossed Floral Spray
Clipped Text (grow)
Small Pigment Ink Pad (I used Turquoise CatsEye from ColorBox)
Sheer Ribbon..light blue with white dots
Thin Blue Lace Trim
Fabri Tac Glue
Stardust Gel Ink Pen
Glue Dots
Paper Flower
Rhinestone
large egg needle

Remove the string hanger that comes on the egg ornament. Paint edge of paper mache egg ornament with white Gesso. Mix a small dab of white Gesso and a drop or two of Acrylic paint. Paint enough vintage text to cover front and back of your egg ornament. Let dry. Glue painted text to the front of the egg ornament and trim to fit, trace and cut a second to cover the back for later. Use sequin waste and white Gesso to stencil on white dots in the upper left side of the egg ornament. Let Dry. Cut out egg from image sheet #222 and Billy from image sheet #230. Glue them to the egg ornament front. Glue Floral Spray German Scrap to the bottom part of the egg ornament and trim excess. Glue the word "grow" to the egg image. Edge the front by rubbing the small pigment ink pad around the edge of the egg ornament. Highlight Billy by going around him and the "grow" text with the Stardust Gel Pen. Glue Sheer ribbon around ornament edge. Glue blue lace trim to the on the front edge allowing some to hang over the edge and frame the egg front. Tie a knot in a small length of the ribbon make a loop, poke a hole in the back of the egg ornament and go through the top hole through the inside, I used a large eye needle for this, but a piece of wire folded in half would also work. Glue a double looped bow to the top and with glue dots add a paper flower and rhinestone. Glue back paper to the back of the ornament and edge with pigment ink pad.

ADDITIONAL IDEAS FOR THESE EGGS....add one to a floral wreath, leave off the ribbon hanger add a skewer for a plant poke or Easter basket tuck in, make a set of 3 or more and add them to a swag or spring display tree, trace the egg shape on a piece of folded cardstock and make a egg shaped card.
