Altered Valentines Art By Ursula Vondeling

Supplies:
Wooden picture frame black
Collage Image O'Connor #151Ink

Tim Holtz distress ink walnut stain, frayed burlap,
ephemera from an old cash register

Clear gel tacky glue
Scrap pieces
Sand paper
white glass marker
Rusty Heart shape from Rusty Tin-
Adage ticket from Tim Holtz
Stamped letters
Metal corner embellishment

First start with sanding the wooden picture frame and give it some scratching to give it a used look
then write the quote on it with the white pen after writing it go over it with some walnut stain ink to make it softer.
Than make the backside, for the back side I used an old piece of wooden board and glued a piece of an old cash register on it
and glued the Tim Holtz ticket (use some ink frayed burlap to make it old) and the rusty heart on it.
Cut out the O'Connor's and cut it in two and glue one on the left and one on the right bottom of the board.
From some scraps I made the hats and put the stamped letters on them.
Finally stuck the metal embellishment on there and the backside is finished.
To give it some dept make a wooden frame from 1 1/2 cm thick to put in the frame first and stick the finished wooden board behind it .
Now you're piece is finished.

Enjoy!!!

Glue the ephemera in the other corners and use some ink on the sides to age them.
Glue the heart shapes in the upper right corner and the collage Image in the lower left corner and make a hat from some scrap paper.
Then attach the letters on there and with the Quickie glue pen trace some letters and throw some glitters on it the glitters will only stick on the glued parts.
To give it a grubby look use the mahogany and black Ink on the sides.
