Altered Altoid Tin By Arlene Mobley

Altoid tin

Vintage music paper

Scrapbook paper

Gesso

Acrylic paint

Distress ink

Ranger Glossy Accents

Paper Imagery Designs Image sheet Rosia #451,

Bed of Roses #445, Avery # 459

Watercolor paper or cardstock

Vintage lace trims, buttons and beads

Alter the inside and outside of the altoid tin using vintage sheet music, scrapbook paper, acrylic paint, gesso and distress inks.

Glue a piece of vintage sheet music to a piece of cardstock or watercolor paper and trace out and cut two hearts shapes. One for the front of the tin and a smaller one for inside the tin. Color with distress inks.

Glue vintage Valentine images from PID sheet Valentine Vignettes #436

to the front of the tin and the heart.

Glue the smaller heart to the inside and position the image of Avery so she is sitting on top of the heart.

Glue oval image of Rosia to the inside lid. Trim with beads and fill with Glossy Accents.

Use vintage buttons, lace trims and beads to finish off the tin.
