Riding Hood Red card stock SU, liner linen paper, brushed gold card stock SU, confetti white SU
Stamps: Winter Trails from Inkadinkadoo (Paper Imagery Designs)
Snow Swirled SU
Versamark, Black StazOn Gold embossing powder, sponge dauber and chocolate chip ink SU
Red Ribbon: I used Martha Stewart seam binding

Please note: I did not include the full instructions for the Shadow box here. Please see the Witchery Shadow instructions
for full details.

The general idea for this card is to create a card front with an opening that will accommodate any of the lovely Father Time images from the collage sheet. You could also incorporate the Shadow Box instructions to get another great effect from the transparencies.
Cutting:

Card front: 6 x 6.25” red textured card stock
Card backing: 6.5” x 6.25” red textured card stock (1/2” is folded over at left side and becomes the binding flap of the card. I use a strong double sided adhesive.
Center hole cut as desired approximately 2.75 “ in diameter (I cut this with a machine and cut to 2.70”) 7/8” of an inch from the top of the card to the top of the circle cut.

Confetti card front measures 5.75 x 5.75” the top of the circle cut out is 7/8” from the top of the confetti piece. I also cut out a 3 ¼” diameter circle (center removed) to cover over the back and to secure the transparency into place.

Brushed gold medallion piece measures approx. 1.5 x 2.5”, again I used a machine to cut this but anything that works for you will be fine. A paper ribbon with an inverted V at either end would probably look really nice…..I must try this.

After cutting all of the pieces. I began the stamping with Versamark and gold embossing around the perimeter of the circle and a couple accents as desired to the lower front. Using a sponge dauber I antiqued or distressed the interior circle edges and the outer edges of the confetti card front. Cut out transparency and attach using double sided tape to the back of the white card centering at the opening. Mount to the textured front side of the 6 x 6.25” piece, again centering under the opening. I like to add the decorative circular paper trim 3 1/4” in diameter to cover the circle edges and give it a more finished look. (see photo above) Attach the ribbon as shown and mount the brushed gold sentiment to front.

Stamp your desired sentiment to the brushed gold using StazOn and set aside. Tie a ribbon bow and set aside.

Attach card backing section (the piece with the folded ½” flap) to the underside of the card. You can just make it out in the picture above. Attach decorative linen lining sheet right front as shown.

Enjoy!
