Bookmarks by Pam Barnes

I always love to give books to kids for Christmas. Here are 4 bookmarks I made for the design team challenge...Fast and Easy Christmas Gifts.
Supplies
chip board for bookmark base
patterned napkins
gel medium
paint brush
quote stamp
aged mahogany distress ink
PID image
German scrap borders
Assorted charms
3D crystal lacquer
Golden Varnish

Cut chip board 2 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches long.
Using gel medium adhere napkins to chip board.
Stamp quote stamp with distress ink.
Using gel medium adhere image to bookmark.
Seal with gel medium.
Embellish with German scrap.
Spray with golden varnish.
Add charm, tassel or fibres.

The back of the bookmarks are finished with the same napkin adhered with gel medium.
I spray a couple light coats of the varnish to both sides to make the bookmarks durable.
I have made these book marks many times using family photos. The PID kiddies look adorable.
